After the great success and positive feedback after the Mirzapur Range Counseling and Mentoring Workshop, Zindagi Ek Prathmikta Foundation Team now plans to launch Suicide Awareness campaigns in Assam. With the mission of organization towards prevention of suicides across the country, aspiring workshops across various districts of Assam at ground level, among Students, Police officials, Tribal and People from all Caste, Social Status, Religion and Gender will be on focus.

Stress is part and parcel of our lives and where on one side there is absolutely no way to stop stress as its quite common, motivation of such training workshops is to motivate people to balance their minds so that when the level of stress reaches to severe depression level or suicidal ideations, they can at least discuss it as a problem or challenge in life, which could be bigger than life itself, which is a Gift of God. There are several success stories where people evolved out of Depression and got a great success in lives. So Zindagi Ek Prathmikta aims in mentoring people about keeping first priority as the Life itself.

The campaign will be headed by Ms. Isha Yadav (President) and Mr. Ashu Gaur (Secretary) of the Foundation with the support of Local Volunteers and Members in Assam; they aim to reach out the individuals looking for an Ear to listen to their Sufferings.

Assam stands as the 17th state overall in terms of per capita suicide cases all over the country with 10 people committing suicide among a lakh. With 312 lakh people making up the population of the state that is a high number indeed. This campaign needs to be successful to be tackled in due time so that more and more people turn their face away from suicide as a solution to their problems and as a unnecessary step to live life as it is meant to.
