Domain Name Registration
Why do I need a domain name?
When you choose a web address or a domain name for your business you actually put up your business online and make your business accessible to millions of customers all over the world.
Your customers use your domain name (www.yourdomain.com) to find your business online, order your products or services or contact you, which means more business. And you send and receive messages from the email business solutions package linked to your domain name.

Domain Cancellation
Once Registered any domain name is valid for the period it is registered and under no circumstances can be cancelled. After expiry it is automatically deleted and is available for booking. If you ever wish to terminate your account, all you need to do is refrain from renewing your account for that particular product or service. Your account lapses automatically.

Domain Renewals
You will receive a confirmation mail for renewals atleast 15 days before its expiry. In case the domain is not renewed before its expiry it will be automatically terminated.

Domain Transfer
Make sure the current administrative contact email id is valid. An email will be sent by the current Registrar to this email id to confirm that the administrative contact owns the domain and agrees to the transfer by clicking on "Accept" in the mail.
Make sure the domain is not locked, expired, registered or transferred prior to 60 days of placing the transfer request. If your domain is locked you must contact the current registrar to unlock it, before placing the transfer request.
Transferring a domain name will add one year to your current expiry date provided the request is placed atleast 60 days after the previous registration/renewal as mentioned in the above condition.
Request domain transfer atleast 15 days prior to the date of its expiry. If you are not sure, please do a WHOIS lookup.
